The bids for hosting Euro Tour 2020 are here. Do you have what it takes to be a host to a highlight serie of disc golf events in Europe? The new and better than ever Euro Tour is coming out next year and you have a chance to be part of it! All you have to do is to fill out 2020 Application Form and send it to email@example.com by the end of 22.9.2019 to apply.
There are no minimal standards to be met, but you have to prove you can host an event worth being on Euro Tour. Only the absolute best (max two) will be chosen so if you want to host Euro Tour 2020 event, you need to tell us why your tournament is better than others. All Euro Tour events will be A tier events next year. If you know that you can not manage some of the criteria, tell us why and ask for a waiver. If your tournament is outstanding in other areas, you still might get in. The important part is what you can do for the players to get best possible disc golf experience for them. That is the bottom line.
Before you start filling the Application Form, take a minute to read a 2020 Euro Tour Agreement that will be signed by all hosts and PDGA Europe, as there are some minimal requirements stated. All those requirements and responsibilities of host are there only for players convenience, not to drag on details and bring more work onto a Tournament Directors shoulders. We appreciate your hard work you have to put into hosting a TOP level tournament and PDGA Europe is here only to help you achieve your goal of being the best Tournament Director in the eyes of all participants. If you do not like any part of the agreement or you feel like you have to do things different way, let us know in the application form or contact PDGA Europe Tour manager straight away. Everything can be settled IF it is for the good of the players. After all, we will have a common goal of pulling out the best possible tournament.
The Tour will be supported by PDGA Europe and partners, that will be revealed during the off season. Brand new web page for Euro Tour with player profiles and enhanced statistics is going to be out when we announce winners of the bids and shedule for ET 2020 by the end of September, you can expect professional post produced play-by-play coverage for all the events next year, full support from PDGA Europe Tour Manager on all events and much more!
